OBESITY
Lime juice is an excellent home remedy for obesity, which helps you to loose your weight. It is a rich source of vitamin C, which is also called “Ascorbic acid”. The Ascorbic acid plays an important role in maintaining the viscosity of bile (Bile is a fluid that is made and released by the liver and stored in the gallbladder. Bile helps in digestion, it break down fats into fatty acids, which absorbs into the body by the digestive tract) and removing of bile from the liver through its detoxification properties. Liver is a key organ in weight control. Removing bile and cleansing the liver allows it to metabolize fat more efficiently and properly.
Add juice of a lime to a glassful of warm water and a teaspoon of honey, and drink it every morning on an empty stomach before exercising.
The seeds of lime and other citrus fruits are poisonous when ingested in large quantity. Therefore, avoid swallowing the seeds when you use limes.
