An Antimalarial Herb

In Ayurvedic medicinal system, Margosa (Nimba / Neem / Azadirachta indica) is used to treat malarial fever. Recent experiments have also shown that one of the Neem’s components, gedunin (a limonoid), is as effective as quinine against malaria.
